In today’s discussion, Maddie Weiner speaks with Yaron Saghiv, CMO of UVeye, about their innovative vehicle inspection technology and recent partnership with General Motors. UVeye systems, likened to an “MRI for your car,” are now installed in over 300 U.S. locations, streamlining inspections and vehicle appraisals through automated damage detection and reporting. This collaboration particularly benefits GM’s loaner fleet operations, enabling transparent and efficient condition assessments to safeguard dealer interests and enhance customer trust.
Saghiv highlights the impact of UVeye on dealership services, such as tire sales, wheel restoration and more, thanks to comprehensive damage and wear detection. The technology also supports higher customer retention by promoting consistent safety checks and a transparent service experience, analogous to a health check-up for cars.
The integration with GM not only streamlines the check-in and check-out process for loaner vehicles but also significantly cuts policy and damage claim costs for dealerships. Looking ahead, UVeye is expanding its footprint in the automotive market, focusing on enhancing dealer and OEM partnerships and broadening its technology applications, including new integrations with vehicle interior inspections.
